Be Still, Emilie, Joy, and Natalie — and Let Me Tell You a Story
You three are the young ladies in my life who inspire me daily. As I reflected on how I handled the events of yesterday — the good moments and the ones I wish I’d done better — this story is for you.
Be Still: Let Go of Uncertainty and Let Intuition Move You Forward
Be Still: Let Go of Uncertainty and Let Intuition Move You Forward
We talked last week about uncertainty feeling like being stuck in the mud. When I become still, I can feel the shift. Everything cycles — and now it’s time to move forward, out of muddy uncertainty, and allow intuition to guide us again.
Be Still During Uncertain Times
Uncertainty — it’s a word I’m frankly tired of hearing. I hear it when analysts talk about the stock market. I hear it when people discuss the current state of our nation — uncertainty brought on by our leaders and a country more divided than I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime. There’s uncertainty about our jobs, our finances, and for some of us, our families, our health, and our relationships.
Be Still and Surrender
This was not the plan.
I was going to write this post last night and then, if I’m being, honest the bottom kind of fell out. I know that everyone has experienced one of those weeks that just keeps dealing you blows and won’t stop attacking your anxiety.
Sound Painting
Last week we talked about how to turn down sound that we don’t need to hear while we are in stillness. We also talked a little about playing with sound by adding back in the sounds that help you be in your stillness. I want to talk more about adding sound back in. I have the unique opportunity to be able to play with sound while I work for my clients. I want you to get still on my table. I’ll take you through a session.
Getting Still
How do we achieve stillness so we can live our best lives? I’m going to tell you how today and after this we are going to explore all of the things we can do while we are still.
Beginning of Stillness
Be still.
From this day forward I will live in my stillness. I will sit in my content truth. I will get to know myself. The real me. I will self reflect what have I always known and am just now remembering.
